Saturday, July 6, 2013 - Translucent chestnut/brick color. Nose of cherry tomatoes, garrigue, shoe polish, braised meats. Fully mature palate of sweet spices. This is an interesting dichotomy- the nose is dark and savory, with the palate tending to be a bit more sweet and lighter-toned. The overall effect is a great, multilayered, concentrated but nimble wine. Should last perhaps another ten years.
