Very peppery - both the green and red capiscums you come to expect with Cabernet Franc, plus the spicy aroma of black pepper from the Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is truly "balanced", with tons of fruit, but tons of everything else that rises to the occasion - spice, tannin, acidity. Nose: green and red peppers, black pepper, dates. What a delicious wine.
