Tuesday, November 2, 2010 - I misunderestimated this wine my first time around. It has developed very well in the last 18 months. Lovely aromas of herbal/sassafras/root beer (but not at all the overblow CA cola thing) and fresh dark cherry fruit. The palate is bright and lively (for a North Coast Pinot), but with plenty of New World fruit to complement it. The finish takes on a savory flavor and leaves with a refreshing snap. Some fine-grained tannin makes an appearance as well. This could certainly develop with more time, but it's drinking great right now.
