Monday, July 7, 2008 - Clear tawny/amber color medium body. Aromas of black currant, prune, and clove. The wine took a while to open up. At first it was very harsh showing tons acidity (I think the quote was "so this is sulfuric acid tastes like") but after a few hours in the decanter the heat burned off and the wine was more approachable plum, prune, and clove tastes surfaced.
