Monday, August 25, 2014 - Deep golden - almost amber. Sweeter on the nose than in the mouth, and it kept improving for as long as anyone had it in the glass. Wet wool, woodsap, a touch of honey, and in the mouth it had weight and autority but little charm. The aftertaste was slightly burning. However, it got more mellow with time and temperature. A singular wine.
