This bottle had a lot more wood on the nose than the first, just lots of oak, which continued onto the palate, along with dark fruit and a finish of slightly bitter coffee. Tannins smooth out after about 3 hours in the decanter. It's an easy drinking wine, not complex or deserving a huge score, but definitely not undrinkable by any stretch.
