Saturday, January 12, 2013 - Deep crimson in the glass. The nose is relatively sweet and fruity, with some hints of graphite and tar. The wine really took me aback in the mouth, it grows and grows on the palate, to reveal many different layers of classic bordeaux flavours of cassis, black cherry, tobacco, leather etc, and really packs a decent punch. Then the real star of the show is the finish, which lasts for well over a minute. Wonderful. Drinking beautifully.
