Monday, April 28, 2014 - Dark crimson colour. Chocolate immediately on the nose, followed by a good clip of eucalypt, blackcurrant/berry, black cherry, plums and vanilla. This all flows through to the palate. Some would say it's overripe and a bit jammy but I reckon it's just on the right side. The depth of fruit here is quite amazing, although the length could be just a bit better. Tannins still grippy but softening. It will live another decade easy. A really full throttled Barossan red of the best kind.
