Tuesday, April 22, 2014 - I remember this wine having deep fruits. There is however, no fruit left in this bottle which came together well after an hour in the decanter. It is deep, dark, and smoky. More of a food wine than a sipping wine, powerful, slightly refined, but lacking in complexity. After 24 hours in the decanter it has the classic over-the-hill port flavor, but still nice with a long finish.
