Wednesday, October 24, 2007 - Deep garnet colour with rust overtones. Classic farmyard, earthy nose. Nice fruit - opened up and softened after 30 mins to reveal nice black cherries, some smokiness. Tannic finish, but it was smooth and mouth coating. Long finish. Went very nicely with pasta and meatballs. A very good wine.
