Thursday, April 17, 2014 - This wine can be seriously misunderstood for those who pop and pour. It opens with a somewhat unappealing nose of sweet & sour sauce and a muted palate of earthy cherry. After an hour it picks up an element of english breakfast tea. After a 6 hour slow ox, the wine cleans up into a beautiful expression of classic nebbiolo. Tons of roses, tar and menthol. Picks up lots of freshness with lovely crunchy red cherries and delightful spiceyness. Absolutely fantastic right now of you give it enough time to slow ox. Delicious
