Thursday, October 1, 2009 - "Audozed" for 4 hours, decanted for one hour. On the nose berries, earth, cigar box, and that un-explainable fragrance only good Italian red can emit. On the palate the wine immediately tells you - yes you have done the right thing purchasing me. Delicious berries with amazing red fruits, tobacco, and cranberry. Excellent and balanced acidity which makes this wine sing and begs you to taste more. The finish goes on for 15 seconds plus with round tannin on the back end. This wine can easily lie for 10+ years but is delicious now. I will seek more of this amazing wine out. Outstanding value which lived up to the hype.
