Monday, October 14, 2013 - Decanted 15 minutes prior to drinking. Wonderful earthiness on the nose with also some tangy sweetness that reminded me of hard candy. Carried through to the palate with saddle leather as well. Tannins are starting to become well integrated, but still many years of life left in this bottle. This was my first of three bottles, and I'm looking forward to drinking the next one in about 3 years.
