Wednesday, July 15, 2015 - This is a wine that always surprises; decanted from a magnum for friends at the weekend recently it immediately received gasps of approval from its sheer succulence of fruit, a deep sway (already) of blackcurrant and fig on the nose followed by that lovely clean and velvetty raspberry gush. This is a wine that pleasures the senses, allowing you to get more comfortable in the chair whilst you ponder its integrity and verve. Lovely fruitiness and a long finish. Superb. And it's not really ready yet............I shall give this another two years before broaching the next, of three, magnums at a special occasion.
