Wednesday, August 20, 2008 - Double decanted about an hour before serving. Another great bottle of wine. The nose gave a stern expression of dark fruit and dried herbs (more so than the '99 or '00). On the palate this was clearly younger than the previous two wines with much denser fruit and more structure. Very well balanced. Plenty tannic. Drinking well now, but will clearly improve with additional time in the bottle.
