88 Points

Tuesday, December 28, 2010 - A slightly alarming "pop" on opening the screwcap, a concern rather sustained by a lot of bubbles clinging to the glass. But no actual bubble stream or fizz. Quite a muted nose with some light honey, white flowers and a hint of sulphur. Complex palate - quite chalky in its minerality. There's a real zingy note, but the overall impression at the moment is of a rather obvious sweetness. Sherbetty finish with a real tingle lingering after. I wonder if this is in the process of leaving a drinking window, before shutting down.
