Tuesday, March 15, 2016 - A Bunch of Great Burgs at St. Genevieve (St. Genevieve, Mpls, MN): Light medium gold color. PNP, drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. I didn't take any notes on this last night, but fortunately there was a little bit left today to revisit. Wow, is this good. Bright fruit on the nose with a chiseled mineral note and bright white flowers and modest fusil. The palate has that silken texture with just a bit of oiliness and the fruit, well the fruit just rocks, great purity, pear, nectarine, apple, so tart and tangy to handle the sweetness, fusil, and brilliant minerality, long and luxurious. A classic JJP WSA! Man I'm glad there's more of these.
