Sunday, May 8, 2011 - Nose of cola infused black currant with some macerated blackberries. Some sweetness is evident. Palate has the blackest currant known to man. There is some pretty fresh cut spring flowers, black raspberries, cola and cedar-box. This has a very well managed balance with a lilty acid level. Tannins are gargantuan but so well behaved you would never notice them if you did not go a lookin'. A super long and elegant finish to this really sums it up as a well made, precise, polished and downright enjoyable Napa Cabernet, one you would love to share with friends. A tremendous find for $30 and I will keep a lookout for more. This always seems to fly below the radar and that's ok.
