Saturday, June 20, 2015 - Big, dark n still youthful. Decanted 2 hrs prior to dinner. Early on, fruit driven paso Syrah was a monster compared to the other older wines. Not a shy animal. Held its own w/ Lots of heavy, fried n palate burning food, include fried mac n cheese, 1/2 bacon 1/2 beef burger with fixins and others. Not sure what was more interesting how this stayed true to its lineage or that others brought well aged napa cabs to a burger joint. Fun wines, fun night. Drink now or hold for a few more years.
