Saturday, April 25, 2015 - 4th Saturday group "uptown" tasting (Our house): Crimson core with some light bricking. Aromas of herbs and dusty black currants, tobacco and red fruit. Flavors of iron, black and red fruits, spice and beef blood with a lengthy finish. Integrated and flat out fantastic, this is the wine of the flight. Guessed '95 St. Julien.

As soon as I sensed Bordeaux I should have considered the possibility that this was our Dominus, but I was so convinced this actually was Bordeaux.this was decanted off its sediment into a spare bottle 75 minutes before the flight was poured. I wish I had more than just the one.
