Saturday, June 27, 2015 - Big, complex nose with mushroom and dark earth, plum, black fruit, meat, pencil lead, menthol and other notes I couldn't identify. Plum, back fruit, cocoa powder, pencil lead, bramble, and a little green pepper on the palate. Good acidity level, nicely resolved tannins.

A different experience than the ’92 or ’94. It comes across a bit rounder and plummier than early 90s Vintages, but it's not fat or over the top. It's refined and nuanced.

This bottle was in a perfect place. I can't see much room for improvement. Your mileage may vary.
