Tuesday, February 26, 1991 - 1987 Tasting 3 Bordeaux and 3 Cabernets. Started out a little barnyard, weedy, stemy, and then quickly blew off after thirty minutes to wonderful cabernet, big body of cabernet fruit with lots of tannin and fruit and acid to suggest 5 to 7 years of ageing is needed based on tasting, finish was long and improved as the wine sat in the glass to a great aftertaste. My #1 and Group #3.
