Monday, January 9, 2012 - this showed about as well as it could, given the relatively young stage of its life. there is the earthy Gevrey thing, the very prominent stone minerality, especially after 2 hours open, and very ripe red and black fruit. The wine is fresh tasting and delicious, and comes across as very pure. There is not a ton of complexity and there might not be enough structure for this to turn into much more than it already is, but if time brings about more pungency to the aromas and flavors, this could turn into a very god bottle. For drinking now, it's a good bottle that definitely shows something of its place.
