Sunday, May 24, 2015 - Opened to some earth, funk, and mild fruit.. opened up over an hour glass decant. Funk blew off, and more fruit black cherry presented itself. My first premier cru burgundy, this was more about the experience. This has an interesting mid-palate with a very asian, hoisin sauce, and meaty taste to it. Definitely has a strong acidity level, and low tannins. Coating the palate. Was very food friendly, but once this opened up, I enjoyed drinking on it's own.
