Sunday, June 15, 2014 - Faded garnet color with orange rim. Nose includes damp earth, blackberry, dark cherry, stewed prunes, bramble, gamey, chocolate. High acidity, high chewy tannins. Medium finish. Smoother on day 2, more integrated and round. I like the complexity and tannins, but overall nothing special.
