Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - I appreciate this wine for what it delivers at such a friendly price--it is fruity and rich without the heaviness of a lot of domestic efforts. The initial verve gives way to a certain sourness and the tannins stay hidden until popping up at the finish, which suggest to me that this wine would make a fine accompaniment to a lamb or beef stew. Wine like the one in this bottle make me curious to explore further the wines of this region.
