Friday, February 6, 2015 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. where has the time gone? i remember pulling these off the shelf at point of purchase as if it were yesterday. it would have been interesting to try this wine once midway through its life cycle. glad that the wine has held up and is showing nicely now. we tasted one 12/2014 and i thought that it might be nearing end of life. tonite's bottle seems to have held up better. this wine is a little heavier than most m d'a. generous aroma. full in the mouth. mostly red fruit. also some herbaciousness. medium body. even though this bottle was primo, i will try another one in a few months so as not to tempt fate.
