Wednesday, October 17, 2012 - Non-blind. Decanted 2 hours, slow-ox 3 hrs at Cuscina April 13.
Impression: Very near Extraordinary.
Nose: Amazing mineral aromas and citrusy Chard.
On the palate it is nothing short of breathtaking. Acid level is on par with Champagne. Elegance is like the movements of a prima ballerina. Minerality component is like your nose inside seashells by the sea shore. First glass felt dis-jointed because of the piercing acids, but it came together well with its delineated exactness and intrinsic fruit. Entry with citrus. Mid palate is sheer pleasure and in the end palate there is a buttery Chard component that sent us in to Wonderland. Mind-boggling! Fantastic!
One of the best Chablis I ever had. Wife loved it. I'm so happy we have 2 more. Next one in maybe 2019.
