Monday, February 1, 2010 - On initial pour, healthy dose of tuscan roast meats over subtle oak. Definite tuscan nose, but with a little air the meat subsides, and a real menthol note stes in, as in Vicks Vapo-Rub. Pretty tight nose overall

Well rounded and balanced palate. Still tight and young, but great cherry fruit and acidity to match, and loads of tannins. Oak is nicely integrated on the palate, and some of the roast meats make a slight return.

Decent length on the finish, but primarily acid, alcohol and tannins. All in all quite enjoyable.
