Wednesday, August 18, 2010 - Wow some serious funkiness when first opening. Not even "barnyard" but backed up septic tank. This sulfur blows off real quickly and you get some nice pure black-cherry on the nose.
On the palate there is some nice acidity and dark cherry with some chocolate. The back-end has some significant tannins with a moderate lengthy finish.
A very nice wine with red sauce.
