Saturday, September 25, 2010 - Decanted for ~ 1.5 hours before dinner (spaghetti w/ meat sauce). Dark red color. Nice aromatics (blackberry, cassis, tobacco, touch of rosemary). Medium bodied wine with medium plus finish (nice drying tannins on the finish). Good new / old world blend. Palate consistent iwth nose with nice herbal (rosemary / sage) elements on the finish - excellent with food. 90-92.
