(Peking Duck House- Midtown): Alas, this bottle showed a bit old and faded, which was rather surprising. Mineral dominates the nose and palate, with just a touch of petrol. It's shed much of its sweetness and is rather hollow in the mid-palate. Light citrus and peach flavors support the slate character. With extended air an interesting spearmint and pine character came up. Still, rather disappointing given the pedigree and vintage. B-.

3/13/2013 11:36:00 PM - Yep. Definitely seems like a similar showing. Someone brought the bottle to the dinner. I'll eventually get a write-up posted and hopefully the person that brought it will chime in as to where they got it. I have a feeling it was a relatively recent purchase.
