Powerful wine with flavors of plums, blackberries, white pepper, petrol, gunmetal, mineral, tar and briar. Alcohol still needs time to burn off, but should balance out after a few years of cellaring. I would say it is a notch below the recent SQN Syrahs of Midnight Oil, Just for the Love of It, Papa, Poker Face and Atlantis. However, still a great wine in its own right. Circle back in 3 years. 96+
