Saturday, December 14, 2013 - (This bottle was Raven #5, for whatever reason there are different bottlings). Nose not giving a ton, even after two hours. Maybe lavender, some dark fruit there. Dark color. Beautiful palate, well integrated despite high alcohol (almost 16%). Great smooth mouthful of dark fruit, delicious. Plenty of life left, maybe even a year or two of improvement ahead. I'd score higher but for me, there is a little bit of alcohol on the finish that undermines it.
