Friday, September 19, 2014 - Charleston III - the Weekend; 9/18/2014-9/20/2014 (Charleston SC - various locations incl. Red Drum, Halls, Circa 1886, and Kings Courtyard Inn): Popped and poured and as you might expect this started out a bit on the tight side. Slowly began to open up though and was one of those beautiful SQN wines where there's so many flavors it's impossible to keep up. Explodes on the palette and definitely not for the faint of heart. We had this last year in Charleston as well and I think it's progressing nicely. Appreciated this time being able to let it sit in the glass a bit longer before drinking as the air really helped it come together.
