Saturday, July 4, 2009 - Funny. I 'tweeted' when I consumed this, and three comments came back immediately from others that they preferred the Syrah to the Grenache. Sheesh, let me make up my own mind... They are quite right thought. This Grenache is lovely, beguiling, silky, roasted plums, nice spice, sappy, mouthfilling, yet not too heavy. A little salty on the finish. However, in a word it is 'yummy' whereas the Syrah is 'serious', not even in the same league with each other.
