Thursday, November 26, 2009 - Tasted single blind with Saxum Rocket Block '05 and Autard Cuvee Juline '07. Tough between the 3 to pick a favorite. SQN certainly did not blow away the other 2. Ripe and rich, opened for about 5 hours prior to tasting. Fruit forward with spice elements and nice mouth-feel. A touch of heat on the finish. A good wine but somewhat underwhelming. Pehaps a result of high expectations.
