Sunday, October 25, 2015 - Plums and thyme on the nose. Blueberries and cherries with some vanilla notes on the palate. Silky tannins. Alcohol barely noticeable, even at 16%. Medium-length finish. Served with appetizer of andouille sausage and a trio of sharp cheddars and then with thin-sliced grilled eye of round aboard some Whole Foods rosemary sourdough slathered with some chipotle mayo.
