Sunday, October 16, 2011 - Deep garnet. Barnyard upon opening, which completely blew off after being uncorked 90 minutes, revealing cassis, herbs and earth on nose. Palate became smooth and balanced after being uncorked 3 hours, but the bright red fruits faded after 2 more hours, leaving more of a sage, plum and earthy profile.
