Thursday, January 15, 2009 - Hue: Mainly purple, browning a little, with a slightly orange tint at the edges. A bit thin.
Nose: Blueberry, Plum, Cedar. Gains some dried potpourri as it airs out.
Palate: Red fruits, sweet spice, pepper. Darker fruits after a few hours in the decanter.
Finish: Slight tinge of bitterness at first, not too long. Smooths out and lengthens after two to three hours in the decanter.
