Friday, April 6, 2007 - Would have scored even better, but probably waited too long to pull the cork on this one. Initial nose was earthy, rusty, and with a bit of sour cherry. Eventually opened up more to show more sour cherry, and cherry cola, with some interesting minerality. Still thoroughly enjoyable, but will not wait so long on later vintages.
