Sunday, March 6, 2011 - Initially tannic and backward. This amelieroted somewhat with air time. Nose of black berries and freshly baked bread. Palate is also dark fruited with some earthy and peppery notes. Given the tannins, my guess is that this needs a few more years to show at its best. I enjoyed it more with food.
