A bit of spicy, peppery, olive, but surrounded by concentrated dark plum fruit. It is round and nicely ripe, but was a little disappointed at the finish as it was a bit bitter, with a bit of heat, and didn't have any acidity. But overall still an excellent sensible new world syrah
