Tuesday, May 6, 2014 - Medium ruby red in color with ever so slight clearing at the edges. Fragrant, attractive & developed nose of ripe red fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with toasty/earthy overtones, some floral notes, truffles, minerals, spices, cola, some cocoa and vanilla notes in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of smooth textured, balanced, developed, rich, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, tart cranberries & plums with spices, minerals, earthy, cola, truffles and a touch of vanilla. Lingering silky finish. Drinks well at present and don't see any potential for continued development from further aging, so drink up soon.
