Sunday, July 4, 2010 - Fourth of July wine. Ahhh, Joseph Phelps, it is like visiting an old friend. I've been drinking California Bigs lately and coming back to a classic style is like reading your favorite comic book again. This bottle was very good. Super smooth, luscious and silky, with hints of sweet fruit. Knew it was good once I jammed my nose into the glass.
