Sunday, April 28, 2013 - Popped and poured. Lovely brick red, transparent at the rim. Color is lightening a bit and beginning to show some age. Smells of intense cherry with a resiny quality to it that makes the nose quite attractive. Tastes like it smells with a lip smacking juicy acidity. Firm tannins on the finish. I like this wine, but it is not quite as rich or full in the mid palate as I prefer.
