Sunday, January 10, 2016 - Sunday, the second day of Wildcard Weekend and I ws planning to enjoy both NFL Games today so I opened a magnum of my favorite wine. This magnum was purchased directly from David Duncan/Twomey thanks to the efforts of Tom Laengle. Bouquet of cassis, black cherry and blackberry which exploded when opening the bottle and being poured into my glass, more of the same on the palate, extremely rich, mouth filling, intensely concentrated fruit on the mid palate, one of the best bottles of this wine I have ever enjoyed, sipped and savored for four hours, elegant to taste, medium/big body and great finish and aftertaste. The best part is I have one half the magnum to enjoy Monday Night!!
