Monday, December 24, 2012 - Very, very good wine indeed, and I would say near its peak and it would be worthwhile waiting for another couple of years. Not yet bricking at the rim, the bottle was pristine and full up to the shoulder and near the cork. Dark violet color, and on the nose one is surprised by the intensity of the back spine, well matured fruits, still present oak, which by all means is not at all exaggerated like some of the other 'would want to be' top grand crus, lots of spice and a beautiful complexities which is still a bit at its dissonant stage yet, but very much promising to be consonant soon and all together. On the palate, wow... what a freshness!~ Quite frankly I was surprised to see the shining back spine uplifting its profound body effortlessly and yet the depth is very well all there. Deep, yet uplifting, powerful but without extraction. To me that would be a wine to look forward to in about a couple of years and to be enjoying the rest of the case for the next many years. Yum~~~
