90 Points

Friday, February 21, 2014 - From 75cl, basically good cork, but pretty saturated and spongey. Decanted; didn't open up much over 2 hours. Big black-red wine; aromatically closed, but some hints of attractive cedar scent; broad sweet blackberry entry with just a hint of cassis; some concentrated licquorice action and surprisingly soft tannins on the mid-palate, however still a pretty thick and muddy texture; shortish, very slightly tongue-furry finish; a nice after-glow of ripe dark fruits. Very good wine, drinkable now but probably best starting in 4-5 years time. 90P(?)
