Saturday, September 17, 2016 - Opened 2 bottles of this two hours before serving for my "2000 Bordeaux wine tasting". The star of the tasting. Both bottles were spectacular. Deep purple in color, fragrant nose, red current, blackberry, dark cherry, graphite, and spices. Little tannin, a bit of acidity but perfectly balanced. Nice long finish. Likely to have a number of years ahead, but can't imagine it being any better than now.
